Turn is a restaurant reservation bidding platform. Participating restaurants offer selected tables for auction, giving diners a way to bid for high-demand reservation times while helping restaurants earn additional revenue.

How reservation bidding works

  1. Find a restaurant, reservation date, time, and party size.
  2. Sign in with your phone number, complete your name, and save a verified payment card.
  3. Place a bid before the restaurant’s bidding deadline. Follow the listing for live bid updates.
  4. If you win and payment succeeds, the reservation is awarded to you and your contact details are shared with the restaurant.

What does the winning bid pay for?

The winning bid pays for the reservation. Food and drinks are purchased separately at the restaurant. There is no reservation deposit required to bid.

What if the highest bidder cannot pay?

If payment fails, Turn can offer the reservation to the next eligible bidder. Backup winners pay their own highest bid. Check your notifications for the final result.

Who sets the bidding deadline?

The restaurant chooses when bidding closes ahead of the reservation. Check each listing for its exact deadline and availability.

Earn additional revenue from high-demand tables by choosing which reservations to offer for bidding. Set the time, party size, days of the week, and bidding deadline.

Offer reservations on your own website

Embed your upcoming reservation auctions with date navigation and a calendar. Public listings can also appear in Turn’s directory; private listings stay out of public feeds.

Guest details and restaurant earnings

Winning reservations include guest names and phone numbers. Your restaurant workspace shows reservation outcomes and earnings after fees. Turn retains $1 from each successful reservation payment; processing costs are deducted from the restaurant’s proceeds.
